Aeolus Investigations takes place against the backdrop of an 8,000-year-old space-threading civilization consisting of a dozen planets, loosely bound by a contract named the Accord. As an outsider looking in, Lexi observes that the Accord has stagnated, both technologically and socially.

Stowaway (Episode 1) In 2026, Lexi Stevens, a 24-year-old student working toward a doctorate, stows away on a small starship belonging to Geena and Ron Samue, a mother/son team of insurance investigators. Join Lexi and the team as they recover, and fight for, the stolen Rose of Light of Ackalon. Getting it home proved more of a challenge than any of them expected.

Avenger (Episode 2) The team intended to spend the money earned from their prior job on remodeling their starship. Plans change. They rush off to Borgol and from there to Naragene Nine to solve the kidnapping of their newest client’s family. In the process, they uncover a wide-ranging conspiracy. Is it more than the team can handle? I don’t think so!

Paladin (Episode 3) Good news! The Aeolus team managed to get their ship remodeled before Lexi is kidnapped by pirates wanting technology she developed in Episode 2. Another rescue mission, this time to save one of their own. When they come across a woman from an unknown human race, held captive on a pirate ship that tries to stop them, the surprises, and the danger, build.

Gambler (Episode 4) Just another day. Just another job. The Aeolus team accepts a job to investigate the strange situation on the most technologically inept of the twelve Accord member worlds. The problem they uncover is appalling. Their efforts to resolve it are extraordinary.

Gladiator (Episode 5) The team returns to Cardin’s Paradise to pick up a new job in an attempt to return to their roots as insurance investigators. Eventually, they find themselves in pursuit of a pirate ship and the stolen Vankovian biological specimens they were hired to recover. At the point where they catch up to the ship, the job goes bizarrely wrong. “Sideways” doesn’t begin to describe it.

Shaman (Episode 6) After a stressful decade gearing up the Accord to battle an invading species, Lexi and Ron take a well-deserved vacation. What interests the two most famous people in the Accord, two people who want to get out of the limelight for a spell? Exploring new worlds. Their vacation turns out far less relaxing than either of them hoped.

On the trail of a fourth, Lexi is captured by a previously unknown race having less than noble intentions. If she and her son’s Aeolus team can’t resolve the situation, Ron and Urania are dead.

Samurai (Episode 8) The situation is confusing. Lexi wakes from a coma to a world that seems off. She’s told she’s 29 and has been in a coma since she was 4. That would explain why she doesn’t remember her 14-year-old sister, Alexa Stevens. It doesn’t explain much else though. And, the big question in her mind is — where’s Ron?

Synthetic (Episode 12) As Marshal of the ever-expanding Accord, one of Lexi Stevens’s most important responsibilities is to train additional Aeolus teams. Her son Crane is now fifteen. Lexi takes him and his future team on a diplomatic training mission to the newly discovered planet of Cryton where the unusual inhabitants just want to keep them “safe.”

Christine (Episode 14) Lexi and Ron had to run off to Eloisa. Crane and his team are out in deep space somewhere. Jis is on Storm Gate serving as the acting Marshal of the Accord. That leaves 19-year-old Christine Samue and her hurriedly assembled team to deal with this newest crisis.

Empress (Episode 17) With episode 15, Apollo, the series has two branching story lines. Christine has been missing for around 12 years. During that time, Crane and his team encountered the Karg. In Episode 17, the two branches merge in the grand finale of the Aeolus Investigations series.
